Wagner NBC Monitor

"Monitor" was a weekend NBC network show that began in 1955 and ran for 20 years. It was a "magazine of the air" - conceived at a time when old-style radio formats were dying.  It originated in New York, but network stations around the country also contributed feature material.  Here are Jack Wagner, Alan O'Neill and Clarence Leisure recording a Monitor feature at KNBC in the 1950s.  (Photo courtesy of Mike Adams)
