KRE in the Claremont Hotel, Berkeley, 1922:
LEFT:  This studio was installed by the Maxwell Electric Company in the Claremont Hotel in 1922. The piano was loaned to KRE by Benjamin's Music Store, and the wicker phonograph by White's. 
RIGHT:  This 50 watt transmitter, nicknamed "Big Mike", was built by the Maxwell Electric Company and installed at the Claremont Hotel for KRE in 1922.
