THE PICKARD FAMILY

5-year-old Ann Pickard was a member of the Pickard Family, a novelty hillbilly act from Tennessee. They were heard on the Blue Network from 1928 to 1932, and later moved to the Mutual Network. It's said that they were the inspiration for the TV show "The Beverly Hillbillies" three decades later.
